Parents of children with a disability or delay
When a child is diagnosed with disability or delay the effects on families are significant and often complex.
Parents experience stress, grief, guilt and frustration with the health and education systems.
I offer specialised counselling and psychotherapy for parents
If you would like support with any of these issues or for something unrelated to your role as a parent please do not hesitate to contact me.
Free counselling is available
As an external provider for Carers Victoria's National Carer Counselling Program I am able to offer most clients six sessions free of charge - see counselling for carers.
Additionally, as a registered psychologist, i am also able to offer Medicare rebates for a further 6-10 sessions per year.
